ANIMIKII TOURS

Animikii (uh-NIM-kee) is an Anishinaabe word that means "Thunderbird".  The thunderbird is a symbol of the north and a symbol of Thunder Bay.  Our tours look to provide authentic northern experiences and share the rich history of the north with visitors from all over the world.  From our spectacular natural surroundings to the rich history of the First Nations and everything in between!  Come on an adventure with us and experience the warmth of Canadian hospitality!

All of our tours operate on a first come, first served basis.  If you have a particular date you're visiting the area, you can book your tour if we have availability to operate it on that particular day.  If we have another tour operating on that day you may join it based on availability.  There is no minimum required for our tours, but we have a maximum of 6 per tour.

In order to provide the best possible experience for your tour, an intimate experience awaits.  Using a vehicle smaller than a coach bus to tour, allows stops to areas other tours cannot access as well as more legroom, physical comfort and features than the average coach bus. The smaller tour size ensures the tour director can provide a higher degree of personalized service and attention.
